This summer has been hot for Michigan. We are in the house a lot. I have a little girl to watch, an overflow child from Andrea's Daycare. She is now six as of this week so she has told the whole world and is very well behaved, loves most everything, adores Jim and eats PBJ sandwiches every day. Strawberry jam!
She is off to some doting grandparents for a week again, which is way Annie doesn't keep her in the summer as she needs full time kids. So we go up to Annie's often, once a week, to play with her friends. She will be there this fall when school starts, as I don't plan on any kids after that. It has been fun for both of us to do quieter things, play with some toys which need played with, and get me out of the bed a bit early.
Kids are all busy, Gaye left for Africa on a church mission trip, and Lynn just called, her Etsy shop got 2 orders today. She is doing well and it's kind of exciting to see her slowly get sales. She is in a snit even thinking of Connor leaving next year for College, she still has not really accepted Ashley being gone so long, and will curl up in a ball if she goes to Colorado like she is thinking about. But she calls me most every day and I don't know what I would do without her. It would be very lonely.
Some cute things occasionally on FB, some ho hum. Reunion next week, we are planning a little trip to Higgins lake, where we will stay in Linda Dowland's empty home, go on to the reunion from there. Probably visit the cemetery, and do a little work there, and we're hoping to see the carriage parade on Saturday. we will see how hot the weather is.
