I have always wanted to sell on Ebay, and this week, I did it. Age 77, with a hand me down Tracfone camera and a laptop with tape on a corner where I dropped it! I make a title on my phone with my Ebay app, then I take pictures, and save for later. Later, I open it back up and put in all of the particulars with my two hands tapping all over my beloved key board as usual, and not picking at my phone like a bloody chicken which I am not, not good at! It works!!
Who knew it was so easy! And the one thing I listed sold overnight. Literally. I turned on my phone and a little ding, and a cash register sound told me something had sold. I love it.! Then before I could figure out what was for sure going on, I clicked a couple of things and bought postage, printed a shipping label and a packing slip, made a couple of calls to the post office, and wow!
I'm a seller!
I read a lot of info and posts while waiting for my next sales which will finish this week, its very exciting and I have good bids. This is just stuff that I loved and then put aside, nobody really wants it, and I'm having a good time.
AND I plan on doing something special with my loot! More on that later, but I have enough to get half way to Florida next year! ha ha ha ha !
April 10th! Hellllllllllooooooo, Florida! Another round of sales, and wow, one closet is looking good! I have one sale that went sour, so will now learn to deal with a seller who does not pay. Wonder what's next? Folks who don't like their 'stuff? Guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Off tomorrow to get a half of a manikin thing that Gaye used when she was selling. so I'm going to drag some vintage frocks out of my closet and see how much above a dollar I can get for them. hahahaha This should be good. I actually have a reenactors costume which I made that I'm going to put up for sale, as reenacting just kind of went sour after the Daughters of Union Soldiers group set my teeth on edge when I tried to join. Another story.
So take that, Ebay, and guess what, everyone needs a good laugh, don't they?
